MAKS 9670 BIO-SURFACTANT FOR DEXTRAN CONTROL & DECOLORIZING AGENT
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MAKS 9670 is a complex compound of inorganic and organic polymers in a cationic environment. It can be safely used in decolorization with its bio-surface active content for dextran control.
AREA OF USE
MAKS 9670 is a synergistic mixture used to prevent dextran formation in sugar cane sugar production plant. It is also effectively used as a sherbet decolorizing additive.
FEATURES
Improves the color of the sorbet mixture
Improves filtration in the second purification.
Liquid, easy to handle
Completely soluble in water
Effective over a wide pH range
Improves the efficiency of a belt filter, filter press or filter cake
Reduces treatment sludge
Reduces or eliminates the need for pH treatment
Large and fast precipitate formation
Efficient operation at low temperatures

DOSING & FEEDING
It is used as primary coagulant (5-10 ppm) and cleaner (2-4 ppm) with the use of anionic polymer.
If MAKS 9670 is used between 4-6 ppm in the retorting water, moisture in the pulp is reduced and thus POL is reduced (sugar recovered from loss)
MAKS 9670 is used to hydrolyze the dextran. The dextran can then be destroyed. There is no need to use the expensive enzyme dextranase. Start with 5 ppm dosage.
Your BIMAKS representative will advise you on the optimum dosage required to achieve maximum program performance.
