MAKS 9652 BIOCIDE FOR MILL SANITATION

MAKS 9652 BIOCIDE FOR MILL SANITATION

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MAKS 9652 is a broad spectrum microbiocide composed of organosulfur derivatives. Controls the growth of algae, bacteria and fungi.

AREA OF USE

MAKS 9652 controls aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and fungi. It operates over a wide pH range during the washing and diffusion stages in sugar mills. It has been developed especially for the sugar extraction process from sugar beet. It can also be used in the process of sugar extraction from sugar cane.

FEATURES

Provides effective control of bacteria and fungi over a wide pH range.
Prevents sucrose conversion and lactic acid formation with all the problems that occur in the process.
Effective against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria
Effective against thermophilic and mesophilic bending of bacteria
Improves sucrose yield by reducing losses due to microbiological activities.
Complies with European sugar industry regulations.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of MAKS 9652 depends on the operational characteristics of the diffusion system, the beet quality and the frequency of microbiological problems. In many cases, combining the product with other biocides increases product efficacy.

Typical dosage ranges from 20-40 g/t for sugar cane and 10-40 g/t for sugar beet. The correct dosage is determined by analyzing the lactic acid content (mg/l) and counting microbes with a microscope.

Your BIMAKS representative will advise you on the optimum dosage required to ensure maximum program performance.
