MAKS 9120 SILICONE ANTIFOAM EMULSION
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MAKS 9120 is a water-soluble film-forming amine corrosion inhibitor, especially used in oil drilling operations.
AREAS OF USE
MAKS 9120 is formulated to provide good film retention in freshwater, seawater and heavy brine systems. MAKS 9120 is suitable for water injection systems, water supply wells, high water cut oil production wells, oil flow lines, treatment equipment such as separators and dryers, water disposal lines.
FEATURE
- Designed to provide good corrosion protection in the presence of carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and organic acid
- Surfactant properties help reduce fouling and promote rapid film formation.
- Highly effective in a wide range of oilfield brines
- Excellent corrosion inhibitor that increases system and equipment life and acts by forming a protective film on metal surfaces

DOSAGE
MAKS 9120 should preferably be applied to a clean system at an initial dose rate of 5 to 20 ppm (based on total liquids) to facilitate rapid film formation. If contamination is present in the system, it is recommended to gradually increase the dose rate from about 5 to 10 ppm to 20 to 30 ppm to avoid blockages that may occur due to abrupt removal of solids
Your BIMAKS representative will advise you on the optimum dosage required to ensure maximum program performance.
