MAKS 9147 CORROSION INHIBITOR-MULTI FUNCTIONAL

MAKS 9147 CORROSION INHIBITOR-MULTI FUNCTIONAL

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MAKS 9147 is a combination of corrosion inhibitors, organic amine compounds and Oxygen scavengers formulated in an aqueous solution.

PRINCIPAL USES

MAKS 9147 is a broad spectrum, non-oxidizing microorganism control agent & corrosion inhibitor for firefighting systems and pipelines. It is designed to reduce the corrosion by forming an organic film on the metal surface. MAKS 9147 provide excellent control of macro & microbiological growth and associated deposits.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

  • Reduce effectively the corrosion by the film forming property
  • Very good oxygen scavengers properties.
  • Effective against a broad spectrum of macro & microorganisms over extended periods
  • Helps to minimize slime problems which can cause costly reductions (affective sludge remover due to its cleaning properties)
  • Minimum discharge problems; active molecules are environmentally degradable
  • Easy application; active at low dosages.
  • The product is organic based and can cover protection till 90 % min.
  • Do not contain or cause precipitation, and it does not act with other additives.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of MAKS 9147 varies depending on the operating characteristics of your system and the water chemistry.

Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.

FEEDING

MAKS 9147 is non-corrosive to ordinary metals used in feeding devices. It may be fed directly from the drum, using a chemical pump of other feeding device. The product disperses readily into feed water at normal temperatures. The dosage point should be completely submerged, as foam can be produced if the mixing is carried out in an open vessel.

MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of Nordel, Polypropylene, Viton, Teflon TFE and Teflon FEP Stainless Steel (316L), Polypropylene, Teflon-lined Steel, Ryton, Polypropylene, TefIon PFA. Do not use Aluminum, Brass, Carbon steel, Neoprene, Nickel, Plasite 6000, Plasite 7122 or Stainless Steel 304 in contact with the neat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.

MAKS 9147 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.

MAKS 9147 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.

APPLICATION METHOD AND QUANTITY

The dosage quantity of the product changes according to the operating conditions and water chemistry of the system. BIMAKS representative will propose the appropriate dosage quantity to ensure maximum conditioning performance based on the distributed system parameters.
