GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MAKS 9136 is an oil soluble highly effective corrosion inhibitor.

PRINCIPAL USES

MAKS 9136 is corrosion inhibitor formulated to control corrosion due to HCl, H2S, organic acids, CO2, HCN. Can be also used as overhead corrosion inhibitor in petrochemical plants or refineries.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

  • Holds corrosion inhibition properties at high temperatures and in low pH systems
  • Has no emulsification effect on treated streams
  • Provides corrosion protection on overhead
  • Provides metal passivation
  • Reduces overhead maintenance cost

DOSAGE & FEEDING

Typical application of MAKS 9136 is in the vapor lines of all refinery towers such as atmospheric and vacuum distillation units as well as steam-cracking main columns. The product can be diluted in aromatic hydrocarbon stream. It maintains its effectiveness with low oxygen presence (traces).

Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.

MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) carbon and stainless steel, teflon. It should not be used with natural or butylic rubber, EPDM, polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, polyvinylalcohols, polyacrylonitryle.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
