MAKS 2250 SCALE AND CORROSION INHIBITOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 2250 is a corrosion inhibitor product in liquid form.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 2250 is a liquid corrosion inhibitor, protecting copper and copper alloy metals with forming film layer for open and closed cooling water system.

Suppresses the corrosion-promoting influence of copper ions on base metals as iron and aluminum
Prevents the catalytic degradation of rubber hoses and seals due to diffusion and deposition of copper ions

DOSAGE
The specific dosage of MAKS 2250 varies depending on the operating characteristics of your system and the water chemistry.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according
to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
MAKS 2250 should be fed neat to a location in the system where it will be uniformly mixed and thoroughly distributed. The product should be fed preferably to tower sump. MAKS 2250 can be fed neat or in any convenient dilution with softened water. MAKS 2250 must be fed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in corrosion and possible tube failure.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304, CPVC pipe, PE, PP, Plasit 4300 or Plasit 7122. Do not use brass, neoprene, Viton, Buna-N, PU, EPDM or Hypalon in contact with the neat product.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
MAKS 2250 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 2250 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
