BOILER WATER TREATMENT

MAKS 1200U SCALE INHIBITOR

MAKS 1200U SCALE INHIBITOR

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MAKS 1200 U is an “all-organic” non-corrosive boiler feed water treatment.

PRINCIPAL USES

MAKS 1200 U is designed to prevent scale and corrosion formation in feedwater boiler systems.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

  • Prevents scale formation and resulting tube failures
  • Supports internal metal passivation in feedwater and boiler system
  • Easy to use and apply
  • Complies with FDA and USDA regulations in food industry, sterilization and steam humidification

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of MAKS 1200 U varies depending on the operating characteristics of your system and the water chemistry.

Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.

FEEDING

MAKS 1200 U is applied neat or diluted with demineralized water, condensate (<35oC) or deaerated boiler feedwater via a stainless steel quill into the suction side of feedwater pump.

MAKS 1200 U must be fed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in scale or deposit formation and possible tube failure. If feedwater is used for steam attemperation, the product must be fed downstream of the attemperation water takeoff.

MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel, PE, PVC and PP. Do not use aluminum, copper, copper alloys, nickel or mild steel in contact with the neat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.

MAKS 1200 U can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.

MAKS 1200 U is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.

APPLICATION METHOD AND QUANTITY

The dosage quantity of the product changes according to the operating conditions and water chemistry of the system. BIMAKS representative will propose the appropriate dosage quantity to ensure maximum conditioning performance based on the distributed system parameters.
