MAKS 6297 GEOTHERMAL CORROSION INHIBITOR
GENERAL
MAKS 6297 is a corrosion inhibitor used effectively in geothermal production wells and surface equipment.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
– Specially designed for geothermal power plants.
– Effective against corrosion in production wells, surface pipes, important elements of power plants (wellhead equipment, evaporator, preheater and injection lines).
– Wider application temperature range, 150-250
– Prevents the formation of FeOx deposits and creates clean brine transfer surfaces within the plant piping.
– Specially developed for high conductivity geothermal wells.
– Cost-effective application due to low dose rate.
– Easy to use and apply.
– Its improved formula prevents loss of activity during long-term storage and use.
DOSAGE
The highest protection in all geothermal systems is achieved by continuous application from the first feed point. The product should be fed pure or diluted as required via a dosing pump. Demineralized water is recommended for dilution.

Bimaks Kimya continuously develops its technologies against operational problems in the field. Finally, during the period October – December 2024, it focused on studies to control corrosion in dual phase geothermal power plants. The field application and evaluation of the results of our solution, which yielded successful results in the laboratory phase, has been completed. Below, the final report of this field study is presented to our customers in case study format.
