MAKS 1680 SCALE AND CORROSION INHIBITOR
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MAKS 1680 is a combination of organic and inorganic inhibitors, a strong dispersant containing polycarboxylic acid and a pH buffer system. MAKS 1680 is free of chromates, nitrites and toxic heavy metals.
AREAS OF USE
MAKS 1680 prevents corrosion and scale formation in closed heating systems filled with softened or demineralized makeup water. MAKS 1680 is mainly used in secondary heating systems of power generation plants such as hot water boilers or heating systems and the chemical industry, but also in closed heating loops in all types of industry.

DOSAGE
The dosage amount of MAKS 1680 depends on the operating conditions (building materials, residence time, water chemistry) and the total acidified hardness of the feed water. Important parameters (product concentration, hardness, pH, etc.) should be regularly recorded and controlled. Suitable analytical methods and test-kits are available to check the MAKS 1680 treatment performance.
