BOILER WATER TREATMENT

MAKS 1341 CONDENSATE TREATMENT

MAKS 1341 CONDENSATE TREATMENT

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MAKS 1341 is an aqueous carbonic acid and oxygen corrosion inhibitor containing film forming amines.

PRINCIPLE USES

MAKS 1341 contains multifunctional corrosion inhibitors designed for use in steam and complex condensate systems. The product provides optimum metal passivation and system protection. MAKS 1341 can be used at steam pressures up to 1o0 bars.

MAKS 1341 cannot be used where compliance with FDA or USDA regulations are required.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

➢ Provides corrosion protection in initial, middle and extended areas of condensate systems
➢ Provides oxygen scavenging and metal passivation
➢ Reduces condensate system maintenance cost
➢ Minimizes boiler tube failures caused by corrosion product in returned condensate
➢ Can be used at pressures up to 100 bars DOSAGE

The specific dosage of MAKS 1341 varies depending on return condensate rate, make-up water quality and CO2-content in the steam. MAKS 1341 should be fed to maintain a pH of 5.5 to 7.5 throughout the condensate system.
