MAKS 6295 GEOTHERMAL SCALE INHIBITOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 6295 is a scale inhibitor used effectively in geothermal wells above 200 °C.
PRODUCT BENEFITS
Effective against scales formed by hardness salts and silica to increase the system efficiency.
Prevents the formation of FeOx, CaCO3, CaSO4, CaxPOy, BaSO4, SrSO4, Si, MgO and MnO scales. Specially developed for high conductivity geothermal wells.
Prevents scale formation and resulting tube failures.
Cost effective application due to low dose rate.
Easy to use and apply.
Enhanced formula prevents activity loss during long term storage and usage.
DOSAGE & FEEDING
The highest protection is achieved by continuous application from the first water feeding point in all geothermal wells. The product should be fed neat or diluted with distilled water via a dosing pump.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel (304), CPVC pipe, PE, PP, Plasit 4300 or Plasit 7122. Do not use neoprene, viton, Buna-N, PU, EPDM or hipalon in contact with the neat product.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
MAKS 6295 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 6295 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
