MAKS 180 CORROSION INHIBITOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 180 is a liquid product containing a blend of acid inhibitors. It helps to protect metals commonly encountered in industrial equipment.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 180 is a liquid product specially formulated to inhibit corrosion while removing water hardness deposits from industrial equipment. It is particularly effective against Hydrochloric acid, Hydrofluoric acid, Sulfuric acid and Sulfamic acid, Acetic acid, Citric acid, Formic acid, Sodium Bisulfate, Oxalic acid, Hydroxyacetic-Formic acid, Phosphoric, Tartaric acid, EDTA, Ammoniated EDTA and Ammoniated Citric usage.

DOSAGE
The specific dosage of MAKS 180 is 1-5 % of total acid used in the in the cleaning operation.
The dosage rate will vary regarding cleaning operation duration, acid concentration, heat, etc. Higher dosage rate gives bettercorrosion protection.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
MAKS 180 should be added before the acid usage. The product may be added directly to a water system where good solution and mixing of the chemical are assured.
MATERIALS: MAKS 180 is compatible with most metals and plastics during normal cleaning procedures, which should last only a few hours. Long or continuous use on galvanized or aluminum surfaces should be avoided.
HANDLING – STORAGE – SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of protective equipment such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
The product can be stored up to 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 180 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
