GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MAKS 4113 is a liquid, water-based, quarternary ammonium microorganism control agent.

PRINCIPAL USES

MAKS 4113 is designed to effectively control microorganism growths in industrial water systems. lt is useful against slime-forming bacteria, algae and fungi. Slime-forming bacteria and algae can produce an environment in which serious corrosion and fouling take place.

Remarks: MAKS 4113 is intended for industrial use only. Do not apply to potable water or domestic water systems.

DOSAGE

The specific dosage of MAKS 4113 will vary depending upon the operating characteristics of your system, the water chemistry, and the severity of problems encountered.

Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.

FEEDING

MAKS 4113 directly from the drum to a point in the system where it will be evenly mixed and uniformly distributed, such as the tower sump or recirculation pump suction. Never feed into a pressurized line, because of possible hazard.

MATERIALS: Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines) should be made of Stainless steel 304 or 316, PE, PP, Hypalon, PVC, Teflon or Plexiglas. Do not use Brass or Mild steel in contact with the neat product.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.

MAKS 4113 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.

MAKS 4113 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.

APPLICATION METHOD AND QUANTITY

The dosage quantity of the product changes according to the operating conditions and water chemistry of the system. BIMAKS representative will propose the appropriate dosage quantity to ensure maximum conditioning performance based on the distributed system parameters..
