GENERAL DESCRIPTION

MAKS 3000 is a non-chromate film-forming product in liquid form.

PRINCIPAL USES

MAKS 3000 provides maximum protection for mild steel, copper and yellow metals in closed cooling systems fed with distilled, demineralized or softened water.

MAKS 3000 is widely applied in closed cooling systems of steel mills, power stations, refineries and many other industrial plants.

DOSAGE

The minimum dosage of MAKS 3000 is 1500 ppm based on the system capacity. The given dosage provides 100 % protection with presence of chlorides up to 300 ppm as NaCl. lf chlorides are more than 300 ppm, dosage of MAKS 3000 must be increased to 2000-2500 ppm.

FEEDING

MAKS 3000 is applied neat or diluted with softened water to a location in the system where it will be uniformly mixed and thoroughly distributed.

MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304 or 316, PVC, PP, PE, Natural rubber or Synthetic rubber.

HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING

As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.

MAKS 3000 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.

MAKS 3000 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.

APPLICATION METHOD AND QUANTITY

The dosage quantity of the product changes according to the operating conditions and water chemistry of the system. BIMAKS representative will propose the appropriate dosage quantity to ensure maximum conditioning performance based on the distributed system parameters..
