MAKS 2215 SCALE AND CORROSION INHIBITOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 2215 is a synergized blend of organic scale inhibitors, polymeric dispersants, organic and inorganic corrosion inhibitors.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 2215 is a multifunctional product designed to prevent corrosion and to help maintain clean heat transfer surfaces in industrial cooling water systems.
MAKS 2215 is primarily applied in systems with corrosive water (high Ca-hardness and m-alkalinity). Copper and copper alloys are also prevented effectively from corrosion.

DOSAGE
The specific dosage of MAKS 2215 will vary depending upon the operating characteristics of your system, the water chemistry, and the severity of problems encountered.
An analytical method for determination of MAKS 2215 concentration in the recirculating water is available.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance
according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
MAKS 2215 shall be fed neat, avoid dilution of the product.
MATERIALS Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines) should be made of PE, PP, PVC, PU, Neoprene, Hypalon, Teflon, Plasite (4005+6000+7122), Buna-N, Vinyl or Viton. Do not use Stainless Steel 304/316, Aluminum, Brass, Carbon Steel or Nickel in contact with the neat product.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
MAKS 2215 can be stored for at least 12 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 2215 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
