MAKS 2205 SCALE AND CORROSION INHIBITOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 2205 is a liquid blend of organic polymers, surfactants and copper inhibitors for corrosion and scale inhibition.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 2205 prevents corrosion on all metals including aluminum, copper and its alloys. Helps to form film on surface to prevent corrosion and deposit in the open re-circulating systems.

DOSAGE
The specific dosage of MAKS 2205 varies depending on the operating characteristics of your system and the water chemistry.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
MAKS 2205 should be fed neat or diluted with demineralized water to a location in the system where it will be uniformly mixed and thoroughly distributed. The product should be fed preferably to tower sump. MAKS 2205 must be fed continuously; any interruption in feed will result in corrosion and possible tube failure.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipments (pumps, lines) should be made of stainless steel 304 and 316, PE, PP, PVC or corrosion-resistant materials such as Teflon.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
MAKS 2205 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 2205 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
APPLICATION METHOD AND QUANTITY
The dosage quantity of the product changes according to the operating conditions and water chemistry of the system. BIMAKS representative will propose the appropriate dosage quantity to ensure maximum conditioning performance based on the distributed system parameters..
