MAKS 1619 ALKALINITY BOOSTER
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 1619 increases the hydroxide alkalinity and suitable for use in boiler systems.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 1619 is intended for use in boiler system, fresh water and sewage treatment. The product is also used to neutralize acid waste.

DOSAGE & FEEDING
The dosage of MAKS 1619 depends on the water quality and the specific system conditions.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
MAKS 1619 is added to the boiler directly or through the feed pump line or to the condensate tank. It should be added separately from the other boiler chemicals to prevent formula instability. Dosage is determined by boiler alkalinity testing.
MATERIALS: The materials used for the dosing devices (pumps, lines) should be PVC, PE or Teflon. Aluminum, copper or carbon steel are not suitable for contact with the concentrated product. SS 316 can be used where strength is required, but the internals of the SS pump should be periodically inspected for corrosion.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
MAKS 1619 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 1619 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
