PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MAKS 6540 is an innovative, proprietary, high performance polymer designed for sludge and wastewater treatment. MAKS 6540 is architecturally modified on the molecular level, providing unique solution properties and performance characteristics. MAKS 6540 is a medium cationic, high molecular weight, liquid latex flocculant.
Solutions of MAKS 6540 in water are of different viscosity, depending on product, concentration of polymer, quality (hardness, pH, …) and temperature of the water.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 6540 provides superb sludge dewatering performance in high shear applications such as filter presses and centrifuges.

DOSAGE
The dosage is highly dependent on the application and system conditions.
MAKS 6540 requires dilution prior to use. Concentrations of 0,5 – 1,5 % are recommended for solutions of the products. Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
