MAKS 1610 ORGANIC DEFOAMER
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 1610 is a high performence all purpose organic defoamer.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 1610 can be used in boiler systems and food related applications but also in many other processing applications that do not require FDA approval. It is also very effective as antifoam for sea water multistage flash evaporators and other evaporators especially if used in alkaline environments also for potable water production.

DOSAGE
The specific dosage of MAKS 1610 varies depending on the operating characteristics of your system and the water chemistry.
Your BIMAKS representative will recommend the optimum dosage necessary to ensure maximum program performance according to your specific system parameters.
FEEDING
MAKS 1610 should be fed neat and with a temperature above 10°C. For best results MAKS 1610 should be fed neat to the overflow weir supplying water to the diffuser.
MATERIALS: Storage and application equipment (pumps, lines) should be made of Brass, Buna-N, Carbon steel, Hypalon, Neoprene, Nickel or Plasite (4005, 6000 and 7122). Do not use PE, PP, PU, PVC, SS 304, 316, Teflon, Viton or Vinyl in contact with the neat product.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
MAKS 1610 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Protect from freezing and from exposure to high temperature.
MAKS 1610 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
