GENERAL DESCRIPTION
MAKS 10125 is a free flowing crystalline odourless powder. MAKS 10125 is a highly effective reducing and bleaching agent.
PRINCIPAL USES
MAKS 10125 is used as an antichlor in water treatment and desalination plants; in the reduction of wastewater in chrome-plating industry; as a preservative in the manufacture of trinitrotoluene (TNT); as a bleaching agent and for scrubbing sulphur dioxide gas in pulp mills in power plants and for leather treatment. MAKS 10125 is also used as an oxygen scavenger in low-pressure boilers and in the manufacture of detergent, sodium thiosulphate and photographic chemicals.
MAKS 10125 is used in pulp and paper sector, water treatment, boiler water, chemicals and drugs, natural latex rubber, photography, food industry, fibre industry, chlor-alkali, leather industry, explosives, minerals, detergents.
HANDLING-STORAGE-SHIPPING
As a standard precaution with all chemicals we recommend the use of personal protective equipments such as goggles and rubber gloves when handling. Consult the Material Safety Data Sheet as the only official source of Environmental and Safety information.
MAKS 10125 can be stored for at least 24 months from date of shipping if kept in its original, unopened container and under normal warehouse conditions. Store the product in a dry cool and humid free place. On exposure to air, it oxidizes to Sodium Sulphate. The product can be handled in bulk with mechanical, pneumatic and vacuum system.
MAKS 10125 is available in non-returnable containers of different sizes.
APPLICATION METHOD AND QUANTITY
The dosage quantity of the product changes according to the operating conditions and water chemistry of the system. BIMAKS representative will propose the appropriate dosage quantity to ensure maximum conditioning performance based on the distributed system parameters.
